ScienceHood Fee Waiver Policy for Authors from Developing Countries

At ScienceHood, we are dedicated to supporting authors from developing countries by offering waivers and discounts for those publishing in our journals. This policy aims to reduce the financial barriers to publishing and promote inclusivity in the dissemination of scientific knowledge.

Open Access and Accessibility

Our journal, Current Research in Scientific Journals, is an open-access platform, ensuring that all content is freely accessible to users and institutions at no cost. This means readers can read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of articles without needing prior permission from the publisher or author.

Publication Fee and Sliding Scale Adjustments

Current Research in the Scientific Field does charge a publication fee, but it is adjusted on a sliding scale to offer reduced rates for authors from low and middle-income countries.

Fee Waiver Criteria for Authors

To further support our authors, Current Research in Scientific Journals offers fee waivers based on the following criteria:

  • Authors from Lower Middle-Income Countries receive a 20% waiver on the Article Processing Charge (APC).
  • Authors from Lower-Income Countries receive a 50% waiver on the APC.

These waivers are granted based on the quality of the submitted work and other special considerations. The decision to approve or reject a waiver application rests with the editorial team of Current Research in the Scientific Field and will be communicated to the corresponding author within one week of the request.

Application Process for Fee Waivers

Authors seeking a fee waiver should submit their application online along with their manuscript to info@sciencehood.com. The application must include the following details:

  • Name of the author and co-authors
  • Name and address of the institution
  • Manuscript title
  • Manuscript abstract
  • Reasons for requesting a fee waiver
